The Book of Eli

Post apocalyptic ass kicking. Touch me again and you won't get it back. Eli is a man of his word. I've seen it 4 times and Gary Oldman and Ray Stevenson are great villains. Eli is a man of vision....or is he?

Wow I'm blown away that it rates so low on RT!! This is a fantastic movie! I've watched it many times and it makes me laugh and cry every time. Incredible cast and Rachel McAdams is so amazing! The seen at the beginning where she is doing her first meeting at Day Break is epic. Hard not to fall in love with her; hell I might just have to change my celebrity crush. Reading some of the other reviews makes me think that some people just don't have a heart. I guess I'm just a sucker for this kind of stuff.

Signs (2002)

Shyamalan knows that it isn't always what you see in the movie that makes a good thriller. The aliens have very little screen time and you experience everything from the families perspective. Great film making!

Watched the uncut version. Loved it! Way better then the first movie. Loved all the cameo's. It's awesome to see a movie make fun of it's self and other bad movies Ryan has made. Canada should be proud! Just a shit load of fun. Some epic SGI. Negasonic brief scene where she charges her powers to put Juggernaut in the pool was spectacular. The brief cameo of the X-men in the room was awesome. Laughed so hard it felt like I had a live wire up my ass. Hell it even has Brad Pitt! This movie literally throws the kitchen sink at you and then shoots you in the head and makes a joke at your expense. After watching it all I wanted to do was walk around my house with just a shirt on. Wade you are such a bad influence. Pull my finger and insert clever joke. Ha ha he said insert! Lots of look at the camera moments. Thanos was so bad ass! Can't wait for the up coming movies. Better put this review back in my prison wallet.

The Predator
The Predator (2018)

One of the best action movies I've ever seen. Shane Black hits it out of the park. Just a great ride. Great cast and extremely well executed. I've seen all the Predator, Alien, and A vs P movies and this is the best one out of all of them. I think that's saying a lot given how good all the Alien and Predator movies are. I see reviewing an action movie like this is a slippery slope. This movie does what it's supposed to do very well. It's not Shakespeare, it's just a fun action flick not claiming to be anything more then just a 107 minutes of fun. Nothing more, nothing less. Sad to see it get such a low score on RT.
