True Story
True Story(2015)

Seeing how a murderer is brought to justice after killing their own family and stealing someone's identity is so incredibly satisfying.

The Stanford Prison Experiment
½

The head guard did an amazing job at his accent and at keeping the prisoners in line for the most part, but he was a little too good at what he did. This just goes to show you why experiments like this shouldn't take place.

My Friend Dahmer
½

I had been looking forward to seeing this movie for a long time. I was disappointed to say the least. I found it slow moving and not very intriguing. I will commend Ross Lynch on taking on this role, he played the part very well, I just didn't find the storyline interesting.

Unfriended
Unfriended(2015)

I usually love paranormal movies, but this movie was poorly shot and poorly edited. Acting was adequate, but strained at some points.

Dismissed
Dismissed(2017)
½

This kid duped so many people at his school and in his life. He made so many people believe that he was a good person. How many people in our school right now are doing the same things to us without our knowledge?

Berlin Syndrome

This movie gives you insight into the eyes of a monster.

Jack of the Red Hearts

It's hard to find a movie that accurately depicts the struggles of autism. Jack of the Red Hearts will tug at your heart strings and have you asking, "What will happen next?"

Don't Talk to Irene
½

An accurate portrayal of high school, unlike normal hollywood cliches. This movie shows a young girl being bullied by her peers for being different, and eventually overcomes them with the help of some senior citizens and a helpful friend.

Brain on Fire

A film long needed to raise awareness for rare conditions. Chloe Grace Moretz gives an amazing performance in Brain of Fire.

Midnight Sun
Midnight Sun(2018)

An inaccurate and offensive portrayal of Xeroderma Pigmentosum. Quite frankly, I found it downright predictable and depressing. Although I did cry like a baby at the end because I was reminded like my cousin who died at a young age as well.

The Vanishing of Sidney Hall

When you mix drunkenness, sex, suicide, and a typewriter together you get this movie, and it's amazing.

Ender's Game
Ender's Game(2013)
½

Tugs at your heartstrings, and makes you think about the future of our planet.

Hard Candy
Hard Candy(2006)
½

It gives you something to think about, why do adults go after young teens? This is a glimpse into a psychopath, but who is really the psychopath?

The Darkest Minds
½

A magnificent film that made me feel alive. All of the different powers inspired me and moved me.

Incredibles 2
½

I did enjoy this movie, although it was incredibly predictable.

Boy Erased
Boy Erased(2018)

Incredibly well done! Perfectly casted and the music was amazing. Troye Sivan complimented it perfect.

The Possession of Hannah Grace

I honestly don't understand why this movie got such bad reviews. The editing and visual effects were very well done, although the story could've been a bit better. I overall thought it was good.

Every Day
Every Day(2018)

I wasn't sure what to expect and I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as good as I expected. It is a pretty good movie, but is it the best? No.

Where's the Money
½

I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, but it honestly was not as bad as I thought. It was pretty dumb as some points though.

Love, Simon
Love, Simon(2018)
½

Love, Simon was a beautiful movie and very well made, but people always say the book is better than the movie.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

I was so excited to watch this after waiting so long to see it and was so disappointed to find it was 90% courtroom drama and 10% horror. The best part was the 10 minutes where they were remembering the exorcism.

Unsane
Unsane(2018)

Unsane is the most poorly made movie I have ever seen. It had the worst lighting, angles, and some of the acting was pretty terrible. It tries to be serious, but ends up being offensive.

Baby Driver
Baby Driver(2017)
½

Felt like I was constantly moving while watching it. Made me feel, every single emotion so many times. Absolutely loved it.
