Insidious: The Last Key

This movie shouldn't have been made. Just plain stupid. There was no need for it, but to only show the beginning of the first 'Insidious' film. They had the opportunity to make something great, but they completely failed it. It was more boring than scary and the story was like a paint splatter...all over the place. Sticking keys into people's necks to take their soul? Just no. Goodbye.

Insidious (2011)

'Insidious' really had me in the beginning. It was truly spooky and it gave a scary feeling to the family and I. The actors made the movie come to life. It had a good storyline and it fit well. The ending is where it took a turn for the worst. A giant gas mask-like mask with a huge tube? The red demon sharpening its claws? If it could just teleport, why did it chase them for the longest time? Just became very predictable and boring. Overall, it was still a scary movie that is sure to terrify you, but it reassures your happiness with a laugh in the end.

Avengers: Endgame

I went into this movie not expecting much. I surely enjoyed 'Infinity War', but the Marvel Universe was something I just couldn't grasp. This movie had me extremely worried with it's three hour runtime. I couldn't bear to sit through just a two hour movie. I was surely surprised! The movie was great! The storyline was obviously predictable, but the actors did a wonderful job. Many of the key characters were missing for the majority of the movie. The way they portrayed Thor was just inappropriate and for his new character to be portrayed like that throughout the entirety of the film just made it unnecessary, stale comedy. I didn't like the ending at first, but after much thought, they did a wonderful job closing up the story. Upon leaving the theater, this movie only made me excited to follow through the Marvel films.

Such a wonderful movie with many great actors and an amazing story. I wasn't sure about this one, but it made me very happy and I'm glad I saw it when I did.
