The Hangover
The Hangover (2009)
6 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes
½

The Hangover is a gut-busting comedy classic that never tries to be anything other than that. Galifianakis is a comic revelation in the role of Alan. The whole thing just works. We almost feel like being hungover.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before
6 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes
½

All the boys is a charming Netflix rom-com. Solid lead performances combine with heartwarming and witty writing to create a predictable film for romantics of all ages. There's definitely some love here.

Suspiria
Suspiria (2018)
6 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes
½

Despite having some well crafted and tense scenes, Suspiria simply isn't very good. There is very little character development, plenty of muddled plot lines and it comes across as rather pretentious. Messy in so many ways.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
6 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Hidden World is a perfect finale to the trilogy. Engaging throughout, it is emotionally powerful, while on the visual side, it stuns. It looks like it's time to say goodbye, but we want a fourth.

Pokémon Detective Pikachu
6 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Detective Pikachu is a Pokemon movie for the adult accompanying the child. Reynolds is his usual electric sassy-self, making it appeal to even non Pokeheads. Time to investigate plans for a sequel.
