It isn't a much original story, but there is definitely something charming about it, maybe it is its talented cast or its well played soundtrack.

Beautiful Boy
Beautiful Boy (2018)

Timothee Chalamet gives the performance of his life career until now. The story is touching, heartbreaking and well constructed, everything seems genuin and credible and we are feeling the pain increase as the movie goes on and on. Beautiful Boy has the incredible superpower of put you in the skin of its characters and make you feel how hard and painful is fight a disease like drugs. Very pertinent, we were needing a movie like this. Amazing and powerful soundtrack.

Call Me by Your Name

½

Call me By Your Name tells a beautiful well portrayed story combined with a great photography and an amazing soundtrack. The cast gave its best, and even if the story doesn't seem much original at these days, the way and the ambience where it was told transcends that fact.

The Haunting
The Haunting (1963)

The Haunting has an interesting premise and a well written story, but I didn't find the suspense intense neither the character development strong as it could have been.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

½

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald creates some nostalgic moments if you're an Harry Potter fan, but it is boring, the characters are weak and despicable comparing to Harry Potter characters and the runtime is too long. It created some Harry Potter's universe plot holes that weren't need and that made me think and conclude that it is time for this slapstick ends.
