½

With fantastic direction and genius writing by Christopher Nolan and great performances from everyone, Inception is a very smart sci-fi action-thriller that is riveting from start to finish and is one of the best movies of the 2010s and one of the smartest movies I've ever seen.

Hellboy

It's not perfect, but Guillermo del Toro's vision and Ron Perlman's charismatic performance make Hellboy a fun watch.

The performances are good, I like the protagonist (even though he has minimal dialogue), and it has pretty stylish direction for its time, though the movie can be a little slow. While I don't think it's a masterpiece, I respect it for influencing some of the great crime-thrillers of the future.

The Da Vinci Code

The performances are fine and there are some interesting themes, but overall, the movie was a little boring for me.

Glass
Glass (2019)

½

The performances are great (especially James McAvoy's), Shyamalan's direction is good, and there are some interesting themes, but sometimes the movie can be a bit slow and some of the themes will most likely not settle for a lot of people and is a slightly underwhelming finale to the Unbreakable trilogy. Depending on what you want from this movie, you will either be satisfied or disappointed. I did enjoy it enough to probably watch it again, I just think it could've been better.
