What can i really say about it! It's a film about a dad who's trying to jungle between work & raising his kids! Alright i'm ok with the concept but this flick looks like it's a documentary about a single dad really struggling with his two boys in N.Y. It's quite a sad film , maybe it's a personal story for the directors, but to me it stayed way out of my understanding as why make a film like this? It's well acted, nicely put togehter, it'ds not boring at all, but in the end you wonder just why? what was the point? what's going on?I guess i'm either too dumb to get this type of arty films or maybe it's just not my cup of tea as i usually love to watch a film and get wcarried away into something special and unfamiliar....

This is a beautifully done documentary with a great message in it. Frank and very uplifting, the film manages to create a fascinating portrait of a young man victim of a hatred murder, into something very palatable to a large audience. Well done.

Patrice Leconte is a marvelous French Fil maker but this movie isn't one of his best. Maybe the casting , maybe the scenario, the film isn't a full success but delivers on some levels such as the costume and the brothel itself have great appeal. Too bad the lead actress lack charisma, something probably due to her very young age. Still it's likable and easy to watch.
