Hellboy (2019)

Other than the stereotypical "conclude everything in the last 10 minutes" hollywood-style ending, this was quite enjoyable.

Furthermore, the plot was overly complicated, and shoved way too many elements down your throat. As well as creating a bunch of intertwined complicated connections.

Yet, What I liked most was that Hellboy has quite a lot of personality and character, unlike most Marvel/DC superheroes.

He just doesn't GAF, and instead limits his emotions to doing his job of slaying evil.

I really hope there are many more sequels, and better writing :)

The Perfect Dictatorship

For some reason, I was under the pretext that this would be a comedy, but it was actually a very dark movie about political and media corruption.

From what I've been told, this story actually happened as well, which makes it that much more sinister and real.

Nonetheless, A++ in keeping it very very real.

I enjoyed this, up until the ending, where it just became cliche as f*ck.

The heroes stoicism keeps the movie strong and on point - after all, she is ex-military + current alien army or w.e.

Even the supposed villain has character (finally stories with more depth).

But the ending just becomes dumb when she gets ultra-powerful, and knows how to use all of her powers instantly - cliche.

T-34 (2019)

Although this was mostly soviet-era propaganda (russian tanks were easily destroyed by the germans and their tactics), I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

The graphics were definitely cool also, and the story was believable, to an extent.

The action and suspense keeps your attention, and there isn't much I can critique about this. Overall, a great movie.
