the story was all over thew place, it dident fit for me, the comedy not great and trying to be serious at same time not helping, racheal leigh cook and alicia silversdtone come of well, and why they went off rails i dont know why,

a well told and shown story, of a young offendor being taken on by a teacher, the teachers motives, not clear at start, but he has a interest in the boy, as we follow the story, you see theres a ovious problem, or something in the past, that this teacher has, and the film shows the two work on various projects in his class, a tale that keeps everything in, and it works well, dont go looking for clear answers, but what you get is worthy of it all,

Who Can Kill a Child? (Quin puede matar a un nio?)

Two english tourists are holidaying in spain, the wife also pregnant. they finally make it to their final destination, a secluded island, which they find is vacant and very eery, things get weird when they see the local kids, which there are many, have been killing off the locals and visitors, the film plays well, coming out in 1976 it certainly has that feel of films from that time. films like the fury and village of the dammed certainly getting a nod. and of course the title. which certainly comes into play and towards finally comes into question. a interesting final act and indeed future motives for the kids, this is a interesting and enjoyable effort from the 70s horror cannon.

german film from 1982portraying berlin in late 70s, and based on a recordings recorded by christiane f, talking about her time as a 14 year old getting hooked on drugs, her time on the drugs, relationships formed, and getting of the stuff, but only to be pulled back in down to lack of self will, the film portrays a depressing side to the times, starting with a look at a youthful and fun outgoing girl, and how her life changes, the film is very well made, great soundtrack, even getting great use of david bowie, as far as him turning up to sing on film, the film at times doesent hold back, and unlike other atempts at adiction films, it stands up with others at portraying highs and especially lows powerfully, a german film to watch out for which is universal in its message
