Audience Reviews for Veronica Mars: Season 1

Super Reviewer

Veronica Mars is an exceptionally well-written show that's compelling and fun. The series follows a young high school girl named Veronica Mars who works part-time at her father PI agency, but does her own investigations on the side. Season 1 follows Veronica's investigation into the murder of her best friend Lilly Kane, and the cover up that destroyed her family and turned them into pariahs. While this main overarcing story is always in the background, each episode has its own intriguing case. Additionally, the cast is especially strong; particularly Kristen Bell, who gives an excellent performance and brings a lot of charisma to the series. The show also makes good use of its guest stars, and Season 1 features appearances by Paris Hilton, Alyson Hannigan, Adam Scott, and Joey Lauren Adams. A sassy film noir detective series, Veronica Mars: Season 1 is full of engaging mysteries and intense drama.
