Critic reviews for Time for After
"Time for After" has probably the most important plot development in Season 8 since the premiere, so why does it feel like such a shrug?
Why Daryl Why? Ugh! I get that he wanted to end it ASAP. We all want it to end. But he didn't even go in to look for Negan. Now the Saviors can get out and attack Alexandria or Hilltop or both!
I feel like a broken record: "I understand that they have to hit certain story beats, and they have a specific number of episodes to fill, but can't they do a better job of filling them?"
An episode that managed to be tense, interesting, and extremely aggravating, mostly all at once.
Thankfully, it's slightly better than expected. Only slightly, but it's a definite improvement on the drawn out, yawn fest that was episode 6.
