Twilight Zon in name only, might as well listen to a political speech instead of trying being entertained by an intelligent sci-fi show.

Boring, bigoted, tripe.

It's a shame that this reboot is so terrible especially when every episode starts with so much promise but eventually falls flat and somehow value's its political and social dynamics as it's main statement rather than keeping the audience entertained throughout by sticking with the spectacle of the unknowns. Instead we see the what we already know sticker just packaged as something else.

I tried. God knows I tried. I can't take it anymore, though. It's not just uninteresting and uncreative, it's thoughtless. The writers for some reason are under the impression that their viewers want to be preached to instead of made to think philosophically or self-reflect like in the original. I hope they reverse the second season renewal. Humanity could do without this flaming dumpster fire they call a show. Watch the original if you want something that actually makes you think deeply and has actually relevance.

How long must I be subjected to watch this stop focusing on politics and focus more on Syfy stories with that being said I've only like two of these stories

I wanted to like this show, I used to watch re runs of the original when I was a kid, and I loved it, but it seems like they are just trying to force their narrative of white person bad, people of color good. They're good people and they're are bad people, just how it is. color of your skin doesn't matter, most of these episodes are about race, some subtle, others are more in your face. The writing is poor and the plots are predictable, 10 mins in to an episode I find myself wondering when this episode is going to end. every episode is long and drawn out

The Twilight Zone has always been political. The genius of the show was its simplicity and use of science fiction and horror to expose percieved problems in society. This commentary was effective due to it being subtle. Through these fantastic tales, viewers found themselves reflecting. This update of the classic show is worse than the 2002 color reboot, due to its lazy scripts that rely heavily on shoving issues down the viewer's throat. The show could use with a lot more subtlety. While shot well, this version of the show fails to live up to any part of the original's success. Jordan Peele's narration is lazy and honestly boring, lacking the charm and wit of Serling's. Overall, it feels like more time needs to be spent finding quality scripts with more subtlety.

The action predictable for children, does not make the viewer think. The acting is mostly very good, but the scenarios written by children raised at SJW.
