Series Info

The adventures of inept officers at the Washoe County Sheriff's Department play out in this improvised series, which pokes fun at police reality shows. Led by the sexually ambiguous Jim Dangle, who likes to wear short shorts, his officers include the morose, medicated Trudy Wiegel, sexpot Clementine Johnson and quiet but quick-tempered Travis Junior. Originally created for the Fox network, the series lay dormant for two years before Comedy Central picked it up.

Critics Consensus: Break out the short shorts for Reno 911! -- an anarchically hilarious ride-along with TV's most inept police force.
