I went into this series out of boredom, not expecting anything. I was surprised. The acting was great, and the plot was suspenseful. For a short series, they did a really good job. Amazon is on an upward swing.

Excellent show, Ignore the idiot tomato brains. This show is action packed with good character arcs, and good cinematography. I binged the whole season in one day.

My husband and I loved it. He had seen the original I had not. I think it's very well written. Leaves you on the edge of your seat.

A father daughter relationship is the bedrock of season one. Lots of action, twists, violence.

The story is interesting and suspenseful.

Friends are huge too. For Hannah, having a friend is vital. A human need we all tend to share, to have friends and belong somewhere, with someone.

The dad has a very loyal and reliable circle of friends to turn to. And it's all about protecting Hannah.

The story is complex enough that the ruthless lady hunting them down is given a human side, conflicting emotions, complexity of character.

Underlying theme of evil government plan to exploit babies, turning them into government owned living fighter slaves. Hannah is the baby that got away.

If you've seen the movie this is more than disappointing the dynamic between Hanna and her Dad is strained. The fact he trained her to far exceed the evil dudes sent to kill her and then trying to protect her for villains is ludicrous!! She could actually beat him when they were in the forest. Plus the way he touches her face is a bit sick. Can't stand Melissa, Her smug smile makes me want to punch her!! Lost me on episode 3
