Critic reviews for Outlaw Country
In the absence of Captain Cold throughout these six episodes, Purcell has had the opportunity to show that he's possibly just as compelling a performer as Wentworth Miller, and the writers room allows for this through strong character moments.
"Outlaw Country" managed to deliver plenty of great moments to set itself apart. Plus, more Jonah Hex is never a bad thing.
So even though the timeline of the week was kind of a bust, the character interactions were amazing, continuing the badass nature of this season, and Ray should have gotten what he needs to make a new ATOM suit.
It was hard not to be stoked for the ending as it played out just like the setup for a comic book crossover.
The Wild West setting wasn't quite as appealing the second time around, though Johnathan Schaech's Jonah Hex is still a fun addition to the mix.
