Arrow - Season 4, Episode 3 - Rotten Tomatoes

Critic Consensus: Arrow gets the team back together in a nostalgic installment, although the persistent flashbacks to Oliver Queen's past are already wearing out their welcome.

Episode Info

The growing tension between Oliver and Diggle puts both their lives at risk when they go after Damien Darhk and a H.I.V.E. deployed meta-human. Meanwhile, Laurel talks Thea into returning to Nanda Parbat to ask her father to put Sara into the Lazarus Pit. However, Laurel is surprised when Nyssa refuses to do it.

Critic reviews for Restoration

Oliver Queen, I thought you were running for mayor. What happened? Oh you just forgot? Decided your friendship with Dig was more important than the city all of a sudden? Yeah tell your writers to get their s--- together.

After the turbulence of last season, the show irons out its rough edges and sets the stage for the next big thing. While positioning several more potential "big things" for us to anticipate.

It's a good thing Oliver manages to take a metaphorical bullet for Diggle, allowing the two to let bygones be bygones. FINALLY!

Before The CW drama could make resurrection a lazy trend, the Pit was destroyed once and for all. A risky, yet totally satisfying, move on the part of the writers!

Still lots of silly writing, and I have no clue where they're going with yet another romp on the island in the flashbacks, but pretty enjoyable with plenty of loose ends and mystery remaining.

I have to admit that Double Down was enjoyable for his greasy fighting style and set up good gags between Damien Darhk snakily asking if they have a "Deal" and the Oliver and Diggle conflict being resolved with snappy dialogue.
