You Again (2010)
Critic Consensus: You Again represents a rare opportunity to see some of Hollywood's finest female veterans together onscreen - and, unfortunately, wastes their talents almost completely.

Critic Reviews for You Again
In this ditzy whirl nothing is pushed too far -- the bad aren't really bad, they're all sorry. And the assumption that high school is where it all happens is ringingly endorsed.
A clever, perhaps even brilliant idea for a black comedy has here been slathered and stifled in a thick treacly layer of Disney-sentimental gloop.
Matters get a little saccharine and conciliatory near the end, but so do Shakespeare's comedies. Take what you get and enjoy it.
Curtis and Weaver put on their game faces, but the script is consistently intent on embarrassing them, and it doesn't spare Kristin Chenoweth, forced to trot out her sparkly-pixie routines from Glee as a super-duper wedding planner.
Yes, this is shrill, crass mainstream Hollywood product, but it has a tendency towards lurid kitsch freakout which makes it not just relentlessly entertaining, but borderline subversive.
Audience Reviews for You Again
This movie was awful. Not only was the music and acting horrible, but I did not laugh once in this movie. In the end it was depressing abd sad, and the only reason I give it 1 star is because i'm being generous, im serious people, never, never, never edure the pain I experienced with this.
This movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's absolutely painful and boring to watch. A very predictable story, which is to be expected, but there are several unlikeable characters and I hated the main character which is not a good thing. The characters are just complete annoying idiots. I hated this movie. Grade: F
I know, I know - this is disposable Hollywood pap. And yet, it was kind of good. I liked seeing Kristen Bell with two legends (Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis), and Betty White was the cherry on top. Fun, couply movie for... couples... but not without some good laughs. The first hour is pretty solid before it drips into Hallmark territory in the end, but this film was much more entertaining than I expected.
