Nice film, awesome sets & costumes! Really good idea for the scenario, the kids will love this entertaining flick & the grown ups catch some nice jokes! A solid French family film!

What would children do if they could run their lives without the intervention of adults? Would they do anything differently? Would they resolve problems differently? The answer is 'no'.
The movie opens with a lovely pop-up book credit sequence, promising to enthrall viewers with something new. Alas, viewers will tire of the children's petty problems and vengeful lust, which resembles that of adults.
The finale is similar to American movie showdowns, in that the two rival camps face off in the village square. Now, is that any different than violent American movies?

Loved it. I know, is a french film, but is still enjoyable on spanish or english (or with subs LOL). The message here is easy: Parents cannot live without their childrens and childrens cannot live without their parents. If not, world would be TOTAL CHAOS! AHHHHHHH!!!! SAVE US!!!! (Seriously, it would become more horrible that it is now).

Plot: One day as any other, kids go to school and parents go to work. But one day the parents had enough of their kids and they just leave them to teach them a lesson. The kids are free and happy, right? But then something horrible happens on the way and is upon the kids to survive or at least hope their parents return to save them all. Interesting story-telling, defenetly amazing. Stars for that.

Acting: All the kids were amazing, some ok and some allright. Same the ones who did of teachers, workers and obviously, the parents. 7th Art is just as hard as any other work. I just love acting, is beautiful! For some, duh, cause not all of them have the talent :P Stars for everyone's job and effort.

Music: Amazing score, very enjoyable and childish, well, that was the idea XD Stars for that too :)

To end this review, 3 & a half stars of 5. Enjoy my review and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS!!! CHAO!!! PD: Some people I know don't like films like this just because their childhood was a total mess or hell or divorce or whatever the reason was, and if they watch this maybe they will remember that past, fine I get that, but is a film, no matter if it's good or bad, it still has a message, a positive one. Anyway, take care people of EARTH!

This film certainly brings you smiles. (I watched it in a park by a river which brought me additional smiles.) The kids are adoreable, and I like the fairly tale costume and setting very much. I find its theme is a fantasy version of Lords of the Files. My favorite scene is in the beginning when they show the part in pop-up paper style.
