Yeeeeaaaah, even from the poster you can already tell that this is a B-ranked action movie. You can painfully clearly see the plotholes, terrible horror-esque decision in the likes of "Oh, this guy saved me three times already from evil bad bald man with a rooty tooty point and shooty gun! Hmmm..yeah let me just whack him over his head and run away to the police station and get another 10 (?) people killed". The woman might seem like a badass on the cover art, but don't be fooled - it felt like she wasn't hit on the head when she was born, it felt like she was thrown against the wall and then shaked a bit JUST for good measure...she was that dumb. Also the movie has no real ending whatsover.

The Marine 4: Moving Target is by far one of the worst action movies ever made. With The Miz reprising his role as Jake Carter (The Marine 3, 5, 6 too), once again, he knows how to give a terrible performance when playing an action hero. Co-starring with him is Melissa Roxburgh (Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days) who plays the whistleblower wanted dead. Surprisingly, she gives a better performance than The Miz and is more commutes to the role, despite technically playing Heather Hills rather than someone on the run. The story is shallowed by non-stop action and exposition and it really bummed me out. To say the least, The Marine 4: Moving Target is your typical action movie where some guy has to protect someone from armed forces, filled with bad acting, a terrible script, a bad story, and a real waste of Summer Rae. 1.5/5 "Don't even bother."

not a bad film in all honesty reminded me a lot of that Steve Austin film hunt to kill.apart from the miz the cast are pretty much unknown the story is pretty basic, you know the story a group of terrorists attack the girl the hero saves her while fighting off the bad guy, hero kills the entire squad and saves the day lol but as films go it's worth a watch.and the miz is really coming into his own as a Hollywood actor.look out for marine 5 coming soon lol

Typical shoot'em all. Kill all the bad guys. Only the good guy wins and saves the girl. Honour, duty and loyalty above all! Lots of action. Little substance.

More macho crap as former marine is recruited to look after a star witness.

It looks low-budget, feels low-budget, and is low-budget, with some throw-away less than memorable action scenes throughout.

I really liked it. This was my favorite marine movie. The action was non stop and the plot was basic and the movie flowed at a quick pace.

Plot: Guns go bang bang bang bang. Some fighting. A few people die. And the odd explosion. Lots of running too. Oh and yeah some talking. Not much though.

And that's about it.

It's awful.

It should end there. But it didn't.

There was not dialogue to another character until past six minutes into the movies. The credits start at the beginning (which means this movie will be terrible so let's front load the credits because we KNOW you ain't sticking around until the end). The credits were a mix match of people's name and random military sayings. After the credits, we get computers talking to each other. That's what it is. Just two computers.

Then Miz in his underwear. No one asked for that. Miz just stands around looking like a dope the whole time. He also doesn't seem to be that competent.

The assignment, which Miz wasn't really sure of even though he had a dossier with the assignment, was to protect this girl because she has some dirt on some company. The movie made it very clear that she is some very holier than thou, liberal thinking, organic eating, 135 IQ having bitch. And that clashes with the Miz's no nonsense having, stupid grin having, little thing called 9/11 doing character. It's horrible.

None of the plot makes sense. I understand it's an action movie, but at least every action movie has a clear good guy / bad guy. All I got was that some organization was out there to kill the girl. I don't know much about them. Something about South Africa. And apparently they don't even work for the company that she has the dirt on. And the dirt she has on the company is stupid. They made faulty body armor that apparently caused a bunch of deaths, and this was the dirt that would get them all incarcerated. Something.

There are four scenes in this movie. Really. There are just long shootouts. Double crosses. Double double crosses. The girl crosses the Miz. The Miz trusts her. She double crosses him again. The people who gave the Miz the assignment to watch the girl DOUBLE crosses him. There is 2 mins of plot backstory and all these double crosses are meaningless.

The movie is just muzzle flashes, incoherent screaming, double crosses, people dying in stupid ways and Miz conquering via Deus Ex Machina.

Skip. It's bad, but not fun bad. Just bad bad.

The Miz once again shows why he is indeed awesome in The . Marine 4. The movie is filled with action and a lot of memorable fight scenes different from previous installments in the franchise. It's definitely in line for a follow-up.
