This is an excellent movie and completely underrated.

Bruce Banner is back in Marvel's attempt at a second Incredible Hulk film.

I remember watching the Eric Bana Hulk film when I was younger and thinking it was lackluster, I honestly did not expect this to be a sort of continuation on the storyline so I was pretty shocked that they decided to. I absolutely love Edward Norton, but I can't really see him as the Hulk, at least not the hulk that's supposed to fit into the extended MCU. His acting style seems too sharp and crass to be on the same stage as an RDJ or a Chris Evans. I'm not saying he couldn't do it, the contrary actually, I just think that his personality wouldn't have meshed.

I did semi-enjoy the film, but just couldn't really get super excited about it, I felt like there were parts of the film that had promise, but for the most part, it just fell flat to me. Overall, I doubt I would watch this again and will probably skip it on my MCU re-watch binges in the future.

"The Incredible Hulk" is sort of a weak link in the Marvel Universe, but it's also an entertaining ride.

My least favorite movie in the MCU. the storyline is boring, but the action scenes is great. But one thing why I don't like this much because it feels like it's not part of the MCU and this film is pretty serious no funny jokes, that's it doesn't feel like it's part of the MCU.

Very good movie with a good Hulk, Abomination, on the other hand was lack luster.

Not a great film, but it has enough action to be entertaining.

Definitely a weaker MCU film, but still a solid movie

Very good for a Hulk movie

I don't understand the hate for this movie. It ties into the MCU in plenty of ways and the action scenes are phenomenal. I personally like Edward Norton better than Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and I love how the Hulk is more intimidating than he is now. The lack of humor and somewhat thrown away plot points drag the movie down for me, but the third act is one of the best in the entire MCU. Another negative is that the relationship between Betty and Bruce just seems a little off mostly due to poor acting by Liv Tyler. Very underrated movie.

2.5/5. Tim Roth and William Hurt are good, but the rest of the movie is mostly boring and forgettable.

When it shifts gears to focus on carnage, The Incredible Hulk works decently enough, but its fundamental problems boil down to bungling its bad guys and waisting too much time on a story just not worth getting invested in.

Surprisingly, it was not as bad as I thought. It was good. I like it.

The Incredible Hulk while not being a very MCU friendly movie is still a superhero movie. The plot makes sense. It follows Bruce Banner and his struggles with the US military, simple. Although he is later replaced, for the character written in this film Edward Norton is a great choice of actor. The CGI is okay but the way the Hulk is portrayed amidst the CGI is very dramatic. The movie gives the audience very little background on the character and how he arrived at the point he is starting the film. As a concise stand alone superhero film, it really is not too bad, the downside is it is lacking that special something to make it great, it really is quite bland.

After so many memorable movies and characters, people seem to forget just how solid 'The Incredible Hulk' really was. Sort of a sequel to Ang Lee's 2003 film, but not really, Edward Norton was a great Bruce Banner before Ruffalo, whose constant tempering and monitoring of his boiling point (how much that came from the set's creative troubles, who knows) made for some good tension on top of the film's fugitive element. Tim Roth was also a pretty alright villain as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, whose aggressive personality and thirst to put the big, green monster down made for a good foil to Norton's Banner.
Though the Hulked-out action never climbs above average, the overall package doesn't disappoint. It's a shame some of the film's interesting, trailing plot points haven't been picked up since.

The MCU's best decision yet was recasting the Hulk. Although Norton does a great job, his overall interpretation of the character would not have taken the Hulk to where it needs to be
