Mendes is a fanatic for arthouse system, a love letter he writes to Fleming, I wonder who will do the same to him.

Mendes is a local seller. This time, breathing pure England-ness and all the patriotism towards it, the director, Sam Mendes is going global with household methods. And to me, it is an ode to this franchise. Never has been a film so formal and personal altogether, like this. Many have come and gone, including his own version in the previous round, but no one was this professional. They have been claiming James Bond's excellence and superiority in his work shamelessly, and never had even cared to prove it. But with a clean polished job comes Mendes, with a neatly poised futuristic world i.e. the present one in which we are living. His huge set pieces gives away the clues. Armed with a huge production budget, Mendes colors the film with ravishing locations and Ridley Scott's Blade Runner-isc captivating tone.

Calculative steps and a simple pragmatic way out, from those steps, Daniel Craig is carrying a much heavy weight on his shoulder. Reinventing the character after a complete arc, he is given everything gift wrapped and untouched. And his version of sober Bond leaves a safe air in the room that is soothingly quiet and cathartic. Christoph Waltz, a mere pawn of the game, no matter how much he brags himself to be the puppeteer, he always stays a puppet.

Despite of a brief appearance, Monica Bellucci casts an unbreakable spell on us from which even the lead, Lea Seydoux couldn't free us. Personally, I feel for Ralph Fiennes, hiding someone else's mistakes and correcting his own, to bring down an evil empire Spectre, his job is to justify all the chapters of the franchise keeping in contrast to the materialistic world, this current generation is drawn to, "A license to kill is also not a license to kill." he concludes.

Slow and insulting, with it's moments.

Spectre is absolutely gorgeous, the action is satisfying and Waltz is fun as the Bond villain, but the film's attempt to tie all the Craig films together just seemed needlessly thrown in, which makes it on the whole an OK Bond film. 3/5 - Fine

The size and ambition of Spectre harks back to the Bonds of yesteryear, especially in its blockbusting pre-title sequence set amongst Mexico's Day of the Dead festival. But there are missed opportunities too; Bellucci is an electrifying presence though her appearance is all too brief, and Bautista is the best henchmen we've had in a while but his ultimate fate is underwhelming.
We've got a bespoke new Aston Martin for Bond to drive, and a train fight that's one of the most brutal punch ups in the series, but the film's final quarter is a letdown, as it strives to satisfyingly tie up the loose ends of not only this story but the previous three films, and Waltz's character, so compelling in the shadows, loses his effectiveness the more we see and learn of him.

"SPECTRE" is a great modern throwback to old 007 movies.
March 30, 2019
Spectre is the most personal of Daniel Craig's 007 films since Casino Royale. Elements of Bond's tortured past come to light and the first big reveal sends him immediately on the run. The pacing is a bit slow throughout but as more is learned about Bond's demons the greater the investment is in his character. If you're the type of person who doesn't care about Bond's origin(s) you'll be impressed with the numerous vehicular chase sequences. The torture scene ought to make you flinch as well.

Somewhat interesting, but the return of SPECTRE and Blofeld should have been more epic than what it was. The whole movie seemed tired. I feel like this gritty, real type Bond has run its course. These movies are not fun anymore like they used to be. I hope that whoever the next James Bond is will be more like the Bond movies of the past and not so serious.

Daniel Craig produces his best movie as Bond, and performances from Christoph Waltz and Monica Belucci are spectacular. Waltz makes a perfect Blofel, and Lea Sodeyeux is spectacular as Mr White´┐ 1/2(TM)s enigmatic daughter. A definite blast.

What another worse James Bond film. The setting about the antagonist was even shit!

A good 007 movie but nothing more

I truly hate this film. Daniel Craig is my 2nd favorite James Bond actor. My favorite bond film is casino Royale. 4th is Skyfall. Quantum is... fine. It´┐ 1/2(TM)s in 15. But spectre... Blofeld sucks, the plot sucks and the film drags, the most meh acting ever, bland action, and disappoints on so many levels. It ruins janes bond with its over the top twists. Truly my least favorite bond film.

Slightly underwhelming, but fun.

Weak..Implausible. Plot Holes Galore. Poor Dialogue. Slow.

This continues to reinvent the Bond formula..... and doesnÔ(TM)t succeed. Craig and his action sequences continues to captivate audiences, even with the rest of the cast falling on too familar ground. And the real villain... is too connected to everything including Bond. The look and style is there, and brings hope thereÔ(TM)s still potential in the franchise.

The most underrated Bond film

Craig and the MI6 staff are pretty solid in this film. Sadly, Fleming was ignored when Blofeld reveals himself as Bond's brother. Not cool.

Spectre is the worst part of the franchise who I saw on my life. Plot is slow and boring, heroes too. Movie not have a motivation. Action is good. I am remember when the base of SPECTRE burned, it was cool. But I do not recommend to see this film, he is not worth it.
As always, release in cinemas for money

Though dark and menacing throughout, audiences should find this establishment of the 007 franchise to be fitting as Daniel Craig's possible final movie.

This is the first Bond movie I have not purchased. As a life long fan I hate what they are doing to this character and franchise. If they continue down this path I would just like to see them put it to bed instead of soiling my fond memories.

The only scenes i liked was during festival in the beginning of the movie. This had even better without bond and helicopters. It remembered me to the funny game Grim Fandango. After that i was hoping for any improvements without success. A complete waste of time for me. I heard that the previous bond movie was worse than this. I didn't see that, but it's hard to believe. At least the Blofeld guy was convincing, but the rest is a joke including craig.
