Director Wagner Moura's historical drama is an adaptation of Mário Magalhães' biography of Brazilian politician, writer and guerrilla fighter Carlos Marighella. Starring Seu Jorge, Adriana Estevenes, Bruno Gagliasso, and Humberto Carrão, it fictionalizes the Marxist activist's daring confrontations with the authoritarian military dictatorship that ruled Brazil from 1964 to 1985 and during the final years of his life.
