Movie Info

Based on a distinguished children's novel by Uri Orlev, this WW II era drama tells the moving tale of an 11-year-old Polish boy who remains in a Jewish ghetto after his friends and relatives are purged from the area by the Nazis. Using his favorite book, Robinson Crusoe for inspiration, the youth struggles to survive and remain hidden amidst the rubble of his former home.

Wonderful movie about family promises, survival and trust. It was hard to believe it was based on a true story considering what this young child had to do to survive during such a terrible time as WWII....If you like anything about the war, you will like this one
