Dosnt work as a comedy or a drama/comedy about comedy failing - not funny or engaging enough. Johnny Harris delivers such a far removed performance your unsure what to make of it. As a concept it's an interesting film idea but fails to tick any boxes which is a great shame.

Not bad but slightly dry comedy drama. Clarke was good as was Harries but it seemed to drift about and not go anywhere that fast. Miller should direct again though

Interesting only to see Noel Clarke play against type (extremely well). Otherwise, avoid.

Noel Clarke stars in a some what disappointing film about a couple of struggling comedians trying to make the big time.

A comedy about unfunny comedians, which is sadly ironic for this film.

Two wouldbe comedians struggle to make their mark. I enjoyed the film much more than the critics who have commented here; the film was desperately unfunny in places because the comics, however much they tried, weren't funny. I thought that their unfunniness was portrayed very well.

Everything Ben Miller touches turns to shite

Pretty average movie but a great showcase for Johnny Harris, such an intense actor.

could of been great, but it just managed to do the bare minimum. loved the warren character and looked forward to seeing them progress... never happened, did a time jump and left you with nothing.

Where "Huge" collapses is in its mishandling of the central relationship, subject as it is to slight yet fatal miscasting. Clarke burrows down in a part styled suspiciously like Richard Ayoade, but the actor just doesn't have funny bones in the way a Seth Rogen or Jonah Hill (or, indeed, an Ayoade) undoubtedly does, which immediately reduces the film's potential for laughs by 50%. And Harris, an exemplary dramatic actor ("London to Brighton", "This is England '86") has the unfortunate tendency of making Jerry Sadowitz look relaxed, stomping all over his share of the jokes - which, and I'm not sure "Huge" itself really knows, may or may not be the point. With its bitparts and walk-ons for circuit veterans and most of the current Avalon roster, its unexpectedly classy Thandie Newton cameo, it does well to disguise the fact it's another low-budget Britpic, but Miller can't hide the poor pacing, a general sense of skimpiness (it's all over, sadly undeveloped, at 75 minutes) or a feeling that this is another work in which successful entertainers tell us how terrible success is.

Not so much Huge as below average at best. real shame as was hoping the subject matter would hit a nerve.

Undoubtedly heartfelt, but sadly misfiring attempt to trace a new act‚(TM)s journey round the comedy circuit. Although there‚(TM)s a lot of talent involved, nothing quite gels ‚" performances, script, pacing - leaving you with little to care about. It‚(TM)s not funny enough to work as a comedy, not truthful or moving enough to involve you as a drama. Oh, and the promise of cameos by a wealth of British comedy talent is wildly misleading, as the star names only appear as high-profile extras in a party scene. I don‚(TM)t want to be mean, because I don‚(TM)t think this was a cynical undertaking, but ultimately it‚(TM)s just not good.

Great acting from the 2 main guys but not a good script. Glad it ended when it did, another 15 mins would have been too much.
