Movie Info

Hank and Mike are best friends--and Easter Bunnies! Hank likes to drink, swear and spend time with "ladies of the night"; Mike is a bundle of insecurities whose entire life is defined by his job. They have long held their positions at Easter Enterprises, a division of a multi-national corporation that owns all holidays. In an effort to increase profits, Hank and Mike are downsized, and the news hits them hard: No Easter Bunny has ever been fired! The strain on their friendship begins immediately as they are propelled into a bizarre downward spiral. As Mike longs for love with his long-time crush, Hank finally meets his match in a six year-old girl. With a little help from these unlikely ladies, and each other, Hank and Mike come to realize that there are things more important than their jobs.

This bunny is a lame duck.

March 27, 2009 | Rating: 1/4

In the end, Hank and Mike still feels like stretched out sketchery.

March 27, 2009 | Rating: 2.5/5

There are some laughs to be had at the expense of bunnies behaving badly, but as in the overrated Bad Santa, the repetitive crass humor too often gives way to a misogynistic streak that caters to the meathead contingent.

Audience Reviews for Hank and Mike

Very different. I want to see sequels of this movie following other holidays. The bum's best friend forever was the best character (i.e. a watermellon with a face drawn on it). The movie makes its reality seem so normal that you have to stop and think, "holy crap. I just watched an easter bunny o.d. on pills."

When two blue collar Easter Bunnies get fired from there company easter enterprises they try there hand at a bunch of odd jobs finding out there are only good for one thing handing out candy they fight depression and debt and eventually each other untill they stop at nothing to get there jobs back, I found this to be a really good black comedy had some down parts but still worth taken a look out for fans of these kinda movies.
