Endings, Beginnings (2020)
Critic Consensus: Endings, Beginnings smothers its talented ensemble cast's committed work in a carelessly constructed, aimlessly dawdling story.

Critic Reviews for Endings, Beginnings
Woodley makes Daphne both exasperating and beguiling, and Doremus uses the rhythms of her life - tentative, uncertain, haunted by events that are gradually revealed - to inform the pace of the movie.
Something in this film just didn't come to life for me... There's so much here to recognize, but it's almost too ordinary.
[T]he truth is that it's a bad film that's bad for the simplest reasons: It's trite, repetitive, and boring, and it looks like a commercial, but not in a good way.
"Endings, Beginnings" has some genuinely engaging moments somewhere in between its beginning and its ending, but too much gets lost in a saggy, shaggy middle.
It's not actually clear what is appealing and/or interesting about any of these people.
All the love, sex, secrets, and Shailene you desire as Woodley pairs up with filmmaker Drake Doremus to trace one woman's journey to self-realization. Though the movie stalls frequently before it finds its balance, Woodley makes us care.
