Movie Info

Edmund Goulding wrote this cautionary silent drama in which a wicked capitalist learns the error of his ways after reading a copy of the "Inferno" and seeing a vision of Hell. Elaborate scenes of the damned suffering their tortures were modeled after Gustave Dore's 19th-century illustrations of Dante's epic poem.
