Critic Reviews for Collisions

All Critics (11) | Top Critics (4)

"Collisions" is a timely examination of a relevant subject, and that timeliness makes it worthy of viewing and discussion even when the execution falls shy of the intended mark.

Collisions all but screams "Issue Movie," and is extremely unlikely to reach anyone but the already convinced.

October 3, 2019 | Full Review…

Levien's humbly made film doesn't achieve the sentimental impact it's after due to implausible story beats and missed opportunities for consequential tension but is far from being a complete disservice to a cause in need of urgent attention.

You may or may not like the politics of the film, but you will love the story of this family.
