I have watched this film three times now, and each time I enjoy it more. My only quibble is that at a couple of points Julie Waters talk too fast to be understood' It is funny and poignant and much better than many Hollywood 'big bucks' productions.
Mm... Two great actors in search of a funny script? The three sisters are an odd bunch on screen, and really don't gel. The "supernatural" angle doesn't fit with the other predictable, mundane action and the stagey, flat direction.
my copy is not called the memory of water, how strange. where is the relevance of water? cheap little flick bought in the supermarket. expected it to be funnier, especially the younger sister who was supposed to be a stoner (?) you gotta love our julie tho! not really sure what the point of this film was i cant remember how it ended.
