"Anchorman" is a movie I have seemed to have unintentionally put off seeing for years. For the last few years, whenever I told anyone that I hadn't seen it, they would be shocked. I finally got around to seeing the movie, and I enjoyed it as a silly comedy. I don't think it is among my favorites in the genre, but it was definitely a fun movie. I think it mostly works because it knows it's meant to be over the top due to its satirical nature and has hilarious characters. I think where its most lacking is its story. To me, there really isn't much interesting going on in the story here. However, I think, for the most part, the characters and consistently funny moments make up for what it lacks in its storyline.
