05/07/2010 (DVD) It's not a bad watch but I did notice that I was complaining about the fights during the flick. The story isn't half bad but it is those "nothing special" plots that has been done several times. An okay movie for one of those rainy afternoons IF you haven't got anything better.

An adrenaline-pumping and hard-edged knockout. A strong, solid and riveting action-packed drama that's loaded with intense fight sequences, head-bashing thrills and dazzling suspense. A great story of friendship and redemption in the unlikely of places. It packs as much punch as it does heart. Steve Austin. Walton Goggins and Laura Vandervoort are terrific. They work well together showing great depth and character development. Austin proves to be an exceptional leading man in this film, giving a great performance and not trying to be anymore then what he is in this film.

MMA...in the cage...not wrestling...type fighting flick for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. It is a hard as stone cold bare knuckled fight flick that tries to show the heart of why one fighter is in the cage to fight. Having paid his debt to society by doing his bid behind bars, he gets out and discovers that his problems are far from over. His parole officer wouldn't give him eye contact during his reviews...his new boss rides him constantly, and to top matters off...the wife of the man that he killed in self defense...still holds a grudge and it seems as if his part time gig as a bouncer at a bar has something else going on that has a hint of assistance to his spiraling problems. See this it is a brawling good time.
